AfroRep Community Guidelines

Overview

AfroRep is a platform where creatives can network, collaborate and showcase their work. These Community Guidelines govern your usage of AfroRep and are incorporated by reference into the AfroRep Terms of Use in order to create an engaging and trustworthy community that supports creativity across the platform.

Unless otherwise stated in the Guidelines, content on AfroRep is subject to the same restrictions. Please follow the guidelines in the 'Report Abuse' section below if you come across content that violates our Guidelines. We take these concerns seriously, and we hope you will as well.

Be Respectful And Safe

AfroRep is a platform for showcasing and discovering creative work. We don't allow abusive or illegal content or conduct on the site to safeguard our users and preserve the high quality of content.

Be Supportive

We welcome expression, but we ask that you be constructive and kind in your comments, private messages, and other contacts.

Be Original

People are encouraged to present their real selves to the AfroRep community and to openly share their own creative work. We deactivate profiles that engage in dishonest or abusive behavior that compromises the legitimacy of our community, including but not limited to:

  • Submitting a profile that contains false, misleading, or inaccurate information
  • Falsely claiming credit for someone else's work
  • Assuming the identity of other persons or entities

Submitting other people’s work as your own is copyright infringement and is not tolerated.  If you're not sure whether using someone else's content or trademark in your work is allowed, call an attorney or look at publicly available references.

Please contact us via our contact page if you believe a user or their material violates the Community Guidelines or AfroRep's Terms of Use at any time.

Additional Information

We have the right to remove content that breaches our guidelines and to take further action against your profile. Please see AfroRep's Terms of Use for additional details on what you can and can't do on our site.
